Clothing & Gear
Wear a swimsuit or quick-dry clothing that you don’t mind getting wet. We recommend wearing a rash guard and leggings for sun protection and comfort. All essential equipment (SUP board, paddle, life vest) is included in the tour price

Before You Book
Our goal is to provide a seamless and safe experience for all our guests. For your safety and convenience, please review the following details regarding insurance, pricing, and service:
- Tour Duration & Extensions: Standard tours are available for 4 or 6 hours. If the tour is extended at the guest’s request on the day, the difference between the original rate and the next duration’s rate (6-hour or 8-hour) will be applied as a surcharge.
- Excluded Expenses: The tour price does not cover facility usage fees (e.g., parking, restroom, and changing room access). The cost of all meals for you and your guide is also excluded. Guests are responsible for the direct payment of these expenses on-site.
- Insurance: For your peace of mind, we strongly recommend that all guests obtain comprehensive travel and activity insurance prior to the tour. Please ensure your policy covers your specific itinerary and any planned outdoor activities.
- Personal Belongings: LOCAL GUIDE JAPAN is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal items, including mobile phones, cameras, and gear, during the tour. We recommend keeping your belongings secure and carrying only what is necessary.
- Weather Policy: In the case of severe weather, the tour may be canceled or its duration adjusted for your safety and comfort. We may also propose alternative options, such as an indoor cultural experience. In the event of a cancellation, a refund will be issued minus a 10% administrative fee. Please note that no refunds will be provided for tours that are shortened due to changing conditions.
- Tax Information: All prices listed are inclusive of 10% consumption tax.
